We fully support OLsA.
If you are looking for the Official OLsA site, then please visit www.laboratorians.net
This site is maintained by volunteer laboratorians and not affiliated with OLsA.
We are happy to let you know that OLsA Executive Committee has no issue for us to to use the www.laboratorians.org domain name and they are pleased that we are providing additional services to our ex-students. As a matter of fact we will be working hand in hand with them to develop the official OLsA website also to make sure we don't end up with any duplicate efforts. Please make a note that this site is still under beta testing as we test all the workflows and code behinds.

If you are an ex-student of Govt. Laboratory High School located at Dhaka, Bangladesh then please register at this site. It will help you keep in touch with your classmates, know about activities about school, read archived Anushilons and connect with hundreds of other laboratorians around the globe. There is no fee, no expiration of your membership. Please ask your batch mates to register as well. We promote the official Alumni organization for laboratorians named OLsA which has an office at our school. They have membership and they perform many useful and beneficial activities for our school. This portal on the other hand is a networking backbone to tie all laboratorians, not just OLsA members and not affiliated with OLsA. |
You must read pages 32-35 in the 1967 Anushilon an article named "Ashun porichoy koriye di". Ali Noki Mohammad Akhtar introduces some laboratorian brothers of our school in a very funny and amusing way. Remember, in the beginning we only had class 7 thru class 10 so they must have been very close to each other. Here he explains in his own terms some attributes of laboratorians of different batches like Kona Bhai, Samiul Bhai, Parvez Bhai, Yusuf Jai Bhai and many others. This article was published in the school magazine of the then class 10. You can read the Anushilon by clicking on the cover page on the left side in home page or here. Remember our "Manush gorar karigors"? Remember those selfless souls who shaped our minds and showed us the way? We are who we are today because of those excellent teachers. So how about taking few moments of your time and call to appreciate our teachers? Can you imagine how happy they will be? Here are some of the contact numbers of our teachers just in case you decide to talk to them or wish them on occasions like Eid or School Day.
